RadioDoc Review is now recruiting an EDITORIAL ASSISTANT (EA).
The EA assists the Editors with administrative and technical issues, proof-reading and formatting articles using a supplied template and style sheet, approaching writers and peer reviewers,and co-manages social media promotion and dissemination of RDR output. A very good knowledge of English and of academic writing and referencing are required, and an eye for detail. The Editorial Assistant will manage their own schedule and the role is flexible, but you can expect to spend one to two hours per week on the role on average.
This is an opportunity for an early career researcher and/or PhD candidate with an interest in radio and podcast studies to become familiar with scholarship in this rapidly evolving field, to learn more about academic publishing and peer review, and to build their network of contacts in this field, as well as gaining an understanding of contemporary audio works from around the world.

The statement should explain your interest in this role, which can include how it could benefit you in your career, and the relevant skills, knowledge, interests and experience that you would bring. These will be assessed by the Editorial Team and you will receive a respond and brief feedback by Nov/Dec 2026. Appointment is for two years, January 2027-2029.
The journal is published by the University of Wollongong, Australia, but applicants can be based anywhere. Applicants from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds are strongly encouraged.
